Spain: Quality and Climate Resilience
The Spanish Pavilion, organized by the association FEPEX, remains a central hub in 2026. A total of 27 companies are presenting the broad spectrum of Spanish production, which has become consistently specialized in exports. Germany remains a key market: in the first half of 2025 alone, over ten percent of Spanish exports—valued at €46.5 million—were delivered to the Federal Republic.
Visitors can take a journey through the country’s most important growing regions at the stand:
- Valencia & Catalonia
- Andalusia & Galicia
- The Canary Islands
A technical highlight is the presentation by Land’Oliv: the company is showcasing ornamental olives optimized through a multi-year adaptation process. These plants are specifically developed for demanding climatic conditions—robust, long-lived, and perfect for modern landscaping.
Portugal: "Portugal Fresh" with Combined Strength
Right next door (Booth 6C25), Portugal presents itself under the umbrella brand Portugal Fresh (Associação para a Produção das Frutas, Legumes e Flores de Portugal). The Portuguese joint stand pools the country's expertise in the production of flowers and ornamental plants.
This year, Portugal is particularly focused on:
- A Diverse Portfolio: Ranging from Mediterranean classics to specialized cut flowers.
- Sustainability: Many Portuguese nurseries are using IPM to present their progress in water-saving and resource-efficient production methods.
- Direct Contact: The stand serves as a central meeting point for professional exchange between international buyers and Portuguese producers.
