+ + + Emotions in Green: Art Meets Plant Love
The Association of the German Flower Wholesale and Import Trade (BGI) is making a special statement at this years IPM regarding the fusion of art and botany. In the BGI Trade Center in Hall 1, illustrations by Essen-based graphic designer Ela Kostadimas adorn the central Marketplace. Today from 6 p.m., the BGI invites you to its traditional booth party.

The qualified designer, who lives in an "urban green jungle" herself and married into a family of gardeners, intentionally focuses on plants with character. Her drawings do not depict flawless catalog items, but rather specimens with their own personalities, serving as symbols of human life with all its ups and downs. BGI Managing Director Andrea Kirchhoff, who discovered the designer's talent, sees this as the perfect stage to highlight the emotional element of the green industry.
In line with this inspiring atmosphere, the BGI cordially invites all interested parties to wind down today, Thursday, January 29, 2026. Starting at 6:00 p.m., Booth 1E11 will transform into a meeting point for stimulating conversations accompanied by good drinks and delicious food. Take the opportunity to network in a relaxed setting surrounded by floral artworks. Please note that this invitation does not replace a valid entrance ticket to the fair.
