+ + + Innovation showcase presents plant novelties

The new varieties will be presented in seven categories: bedding and balcony plants for spring and summer, flowering houseplants, woody plants, perennials, cut flowers, and container plants. A jury of experts will closely examine the new varieties and select one winner per category. The winners will be announced and awarded today during the official opening of the trade fair. The public will also have a say: visitors can vote for their favorite, which will be announced on Thursday afternoon.

The New Product Showcase is being held for the 17th time, on the initiative of the Central Horticultural Association (ZVG) and in cooperation with MESSE ESSEN. It is considered the ideal platform for presenting new plant varieties to an international audience of experts. It can be viewed at the Horticulture Information Center in Hall 4 at IPM.
