Drone technology offers horticultural businesses modern solutions for digital inventory of farm buildings and land, thermographic inspections, virtual farm tours, and BIM models as a planning basis for construction projects. Visitors to the trade fair can learn about interesting examples of use and obtain comprehensive information during the IPM. In addition, wirfliegendrohne.de is also offering interested companies an attractive trade fair offer.
“We look forward to engaging in high-level professional dialogue with the industry and discussing technological innovations,” says CEO Christian Senft. His primary goal remains to provide reliable protection for European horticulture. “This also includes providing our members with top-level technical advice, effectively supporting them in prevention issues, and keeping an eye on and helping to shape the overall development of the industry,” emphasizes Christian Senft.
On Thursday of the trade fair, Gartenbau-Versicherung is also inviting visitors to two informative short presentations at the Horticultural Technology Innovation Center in Hall 4. From 10:00 to 10:15 a.m., Matthias Hartmann, founder and managing director of wirfliegendrohne.de, will explain how horticultural businesses can make beneficial use of drone technology. From 3:30 to 3:45 p.m., Sven Werner, a working student at Gartenbau-Versicherung, will provide insight into his research on the future of horticulture in Germany. The speakers will also be available for personal discussions.
