+ + + New creator event for the green industry
Brands, content creators, and the green industry meet on equal terms: With Green Vibes, IPM ESSEN is launching a full-day event on Thursday of the trade fair week for the first time, bringing together exhibitors and digital storytellers in a practical, uncomplicated, and inspiring way.

Developed in collaboration with the Landgard initiative “1000 Good Reasons” and the Central Horticultural Association (ZVG), the program is curated by the Prachtstern agency. “We are currently seeing that creator relations are playing an increasingly important role in horticulture in order to appeal to new target groups. ‘Green Vibes’ is intended to facilitate entry and promote creative partnerships,” explains Andrea Hölker, project manager at IPM ESSEN, adding: “We want to show that the green industry can position itself authentically and imaginatively in the digital space.”
“Green Vibes” stands for intensive exchange, exciting innovations, and exclusive content production. The creators have a professional connection to the industry and a strong reach. At the trade fair, they will gain deep insights into international horticulture, new products, and trends. Not only is lunch on the agenda at the spring edition of the Landgard producers' cooperative's order day, but also a visit to the ZVG stand, where the new plants at IPM ESSEN 2026 will be presented. Participants will also have ample opportunity to explore the world's leading trade fair for themselves and produce content before the day ends at Landgard Flower.
Speed dating for collaborations
The highlight of the day is the “Green Match,” a speed dating format between selected creators and participating exhibitors. In ten-minute conversations, both sides get to know each other in order to explore possible collaborations or joint projects. Matches are made based on thematic interests – such as floristry, plants, or technology. “Many exhibitors would like to work with content creators but don't know who to approach – and vice versa. This is exactly where speed dating comes in,” says Friederike Füller, managing director of the accompanying agency Prachtstern.
High added value for exhibitors
Exhibiting companies at IPM ESSEN 2026 who take part in the “Green Match” speed dating event benefit from targeted brand integration, attention-grabbing communication, and direct access to a hand-picked group of content creators from the gardening, plant, and lifestyle sectors.
