The Green Cities Europe Award goes to France
The renowned Green Cities Europe Award goes to France this year. The award was presented during IPM ESSEN 2025 to "LES JARDINS DE PRE GAUDRY" (translated: The Gardens of Pre Gaudry), submitted by the metropolis of Lyon. Second and third place went to entries from Italy and Poland.

The award, which has been presented by the European Nurserystock Association (ENA) for the past four years, recognizes outstanding projects that promote green and sustainable cities in Europe. This year, ten projects from the participating ENA member countries were nominated. All entries can be found on the Green Cities Europe website.
Here are the three award-winning projects:
- Frankerei: LES JARDINS DE PRE GAUDRY, Submission by: GRAND LYON METROPOLE.
- Italy: Parco della Pace, Submission by: PAN Associati s.r.l. with ITS Engineering Company Pieve di Soligo (TV) (ing. G. Moro, ing. A. De Pin), EMF Girona, Spagna (dr. Marti Franch Batllori), arch. Franco Zagari Roma with Asprostudio Vicenza (C. Bertorelli, arch. F. Dal Toso), geol. Gino Lucchetta.
- Poland: Greening of Nowy Targ Square, Submission by: Wroclaw Municipal Greenery Authority.
