Wide variety at the joint stands of the Netherlands, Poland, Denmark and Great Britain
The international joint stands are a magnet for visitors at IPM ESSEN at Messe Essen. This is because they offer trade visitors to the world's leading trade fair a unique opportunity to discover typical plants and technical innovations from different parts of the world in a compact way. 13 nations are represented with their stands and offer cross-border inspiration. Today, we report on the Netherlands, Poland, Denmark and Great Britain.

Netherlands (Hall 1 / Hall 8)
Sustainable flowers and plants are becoming increasingly important in the Dutch horticultural sector. Trade visitors can see this for themselves at the joint stand of the Royal FloraHolland cooperative in Hall 1, which is hosting around 20 companies. For example, the exhibitors will be presenting chrysanthemums that have been ethically grown and are free of harmful chemicals, as well as organically grown anthuriums. They will also be bringing gerberas, orchids and succulents, as well as packaging and decorations, to Essen.
At another Dutch joint stand in Hall 8, 40 companies from the various tree nursery centers in the Netherlands, organized by BIZZ Holland, will be presenting themselves. New this year is the Show-Your-Colors Garden Center. More than 20 renowned brands are joining forces there and creating a unique presentation with concept tables and POS materials in a garden center setting. This provides trade visitors with inspiration for special promotions and practical support for communicating plant characteristics and care tips to their customers. In addition, the exhibitors' ranges extend from avenue trees, ornamental shrubs, conifers, roses and perennials to starting documents.
Poland (Hall 6)
The Polish joint stand at IPM ESSEN 2025 is organized by the Association of Polish Nurseries (ZSzP), which unites the leading Polish nurseries. These companies offer a wide range of ornamental and fruit plants, from young plants to fully grown trees and shrubs. The nurseries supply public and institutional green spaces as well as domestic gardens. The association's stand is open to advise anyone interested in typical or rare plants. The 2025 tree nursery catalog, which contains information about companies, plant varieties and contact options, will also be presented there. The new “Catalogue of Proven Plants”, available for the first time in English, will also be available. In addition to the four exhibiting tree nurseries at the joint stand, other Polish companies will be presenting themselves independently at the trade fair.
Denmark (Hall 6)
The Danish joint stand of the Floradania marketing organization will include 16 exhibitors. A wide selection of Danish ornamental plants, Christmas trees and flower bulb products will be presented. A central trend in Denmark is the integration of plants into interior design, which underlines the growing importance of greenery as a design element. Sustainability is also in focus, particularly through environmentally friendly production methods.
Great Britain (Hall 7)
The British Pavilion at IPM ESSEN 2025 is organized by the Commercial Horticultural Association (CHA). A total of ten British companies will be presenting their products and services, including garden plants such as roses, clematis and young plants, sustainable fertilizers and biostimulants, LED lighting for horticulture, tree supports, labels, packaging materials and design services.“IPM ESSEN is always an extremely dynamic and well-attended trade fair for us. Many of our exhibitors attend every year because the event is so important and we have an excellent location in Hall 7,” says Emma Brazier, Event Manager at CHA. ”We are delighted to welcome ten British companies to the show in January who will benefit from our comprehensive logistics and marketing support. We expect a lively and successful event that will kick off our 2025 trade fair calendar.”
