Wide variety at the joint stands of Spain, Israel and Turkey

The international joint stands are a magnet for visitors at IPM ESSEN at Messe Essen. This is because they offer trade visitors to the world's leading trade fair a unique opportunity to discover typical plants and technical innovations from different parts of the world in a compact way. 13 nations are represented with their stands and offer cross-border inspiration. Today, we report on Spain, Israel and Turkey.

Spain (Hall 6)

Spain is represented at IPM ESSEN 2025 with an impressive joint stand organized by FEPEX. A total of 31 companies are presenting Mediterranean plants such as olive trees, palm trees, shrubs, fruit trees and other ornamental plants. The participating companies come from the regions of Valencia, Catalonia, Andalusia, the Canary Islands and Galicia. The stand covers an area of more than 1,200 square meters in Hall 6. In addition to the product presentations, a 71-square-meter institutional meeting zone offers opportunities for networking and exchange.Germany is an important export market for Spanish plants. Here, sales have increased by 87 percent in the last five years to a good 50 million euros in 2022.

Israel (Hall 2)

The Israeli tree nursery Hishtil will be represented at IPM ESSEN by four exhibitors. At the joint stand in Hall 2, trade visitors can expect to see a wide variety of organic plants, such as grafted vegetables and herbs. These include the sage variety Salvia officinalis “Ovalvet”, which is prized for its sweet scent and round, velvety grey-green leaves. Also in the Israeli trade fair luggage: several lavender and rosemary varieties (Lavandula x intermedia “Exceptional”, Lavandula stoechas “Big Foot”, Rosmarinus officinalis “Capercaillie”, Rosmarinus off. “Gorizia"), a Thymus mastichina Compact ‘POMPOM’ with particularly broad and striking leaves and the high mountain mint Ziziphora clinopodioides ‘High Mountain Mint’.

Turkey (Hall 5)

23 companies that make optimal use of Turkey's climatic advantages will participate in the Turkish Pavilion at IPM ESSEN 2025. On an area of 455 square meters, they will show the country's high-quality production capacities in the field of ornamental plants. The aim of the Turkish pavilion is to present the productive power and innovative approaches of Turkish companies on the world market and to demonstrate Turkey's claim in the ornamental plants sector once again. Visitors will also learn more about Turkey's steps towards zero emissions and green transformation here.
