The Flower Council of Holland will be present at IPM with a stand in Hall 1, Stand 1E22 with international consumer marketing and communication about flowers and plants. The aim of the Flower Council of Holland is to stimulate demand on behalf of growers and retailers in the Netherlands by informing and inspiring consumers about the positive effects of flowers and plants. In addition to information, the stand will also feature live presentations and talks, as well as a good cup of coffee. Today there will be the following presentations:

Which style trends and values will determine the demand for flowers and plants? Monique Kemperman, Lead PR and Events, takes a look at the horticultural trends for 2026.
13:00 to 13:15 - Sneak Peek: Shopper research
How do consumers perceive flowers and plants and what influences their purchasing behavior? Relationship Manager Rob Tas will give a sneak peek into a large-scale study from 2024 that used surveys, eye-tracking technology and in-store interviews to gain fascinating insights.
15:00 to 15:30 - The impact of cut flowers on wellbeing
Flowers are often associated with positive emotions, but what impact do they actually have on wellbeing? Anne van der Wal, Sustainability & Sector Communication Manager, will present the results of an extensive study conducted in collaboration with Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and research company CloudArmy.
