+ + + Geisenheim students thank Vannucci Piante
Just how diverse studying in the green sector can be was demonstrated on Tuesday at Stand 3D64: Hochschule Geisenheim, in cooperation with the Italian nursery Vannucci Piante, held a summer school on the production and use of Mediterranean woody plants. 20 students from the horticulture and landscape architecture courses learned about the processes in an international nursery on site at the “Nursery Campus Pistoia”, as well as about the range and use of plants.

In addition, there were practical exercises and excursions to specialist companies as well as insights into Italian garden culture through guided tours of selected gardens and parks. The tasks and presentations were incorporated into a joint report, which was handed over to the cooperation partners of Vannucci Piante at the IPM 2024 trade fair stand of Hochschule Geisenheim University.
