The presenter Stephanie Schmidt, together with the well-known "1000 good reasons gardener", Tristan, will provide students from general education schools in grades 8, 9 and 10 with comprehensive information about training in horticulture and floristry.

In addition to the students, important multipliers such as teachers are also addressed on Training Day. They are usually the first point of contact when it comes to helping young people choose a career.

The North Rhine-Westphalia Horticultural Association, the North Rhine-Westphalia Garden, Landscape and Sports Grounds Association, the Provincial Association of Rhineland Fruit and Vegetable Growers, the Federal Association of German Florists and the Association of German Garden Centers (VDG), with the support of the North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Agriculture, the Central Horticultural Association (ZVG) and Messe Essen, are inviting young people to this recruitment event.
