Dear colleagues

I have already spent two days at IPM ESSEN 2026. One thing is already certain: I am heading into the rest of the year with a great deal of excellent new ideas. Conversations with esteemed old and new friends from the horticultural sector are constantly providing valuable inspiration. The challenges facing the industry are real - as is the case for our economy as a whole right now. However, there is plenty of energy and confidence to tackle these challenges. That is encouraging!
