+ + + Joint stand of the Oldenburg tree nurseries
For the first time at IPM 2024, there will be a joint stand for Oldenburg nurseries. Located in Hall 7, participants will have the opportunity to present their extensive range of products alongside the stands of numerous industry colleagues. In addition to the presentation area of eight square meters per participant, the companies can use the Oldenburg Lounge for customer meetings.

Trade visitors can look forward to a total of eight exhibitors at stand 7A40 and be inspired above all by the variety. Among others, the Renke zur Mühlen tree nursery from Bad Zwischenahn will be there. The main focus here will be on the native yew Taxus bacc. Renke's Kleiner Grüner, which is versatile due to its compact and small growth. This particular variety does not bear flowers and therefore does not produce pollen or berries. The Ahlers nursery in Westerstede produces a wide range of organic soft fruit, Cytisus, Hydrangea paniculata, Bloombux, Rhododendron Inkarho, deciduous shrubs and Christmas conifers on 35 hectares. The focus is on fast-moving items in uniform qualities and large quantities. The sustainable production inspires garden centers and wholesale customers alike. Baumschule zu Klampen from Bad Zwischenahn will be presenting its large assortment of deciduous shrubs at the IPM. From 3 to 15-liter containers, the company offers goods in garden center quality. These include Buddleja, Hydrangea and Weigela. In addition, zu Klampen will be happy to present its online store and its individual label printing service EtikettHit. The tree nursery Manfred Schröder from Westerstede is primarily known as a specialist for small stems and produces over 300 different species and varieties, such as Betula, Callicarpa, Chamaecyparis, Laburnum, Ginkgo and Prunus or Syringa on stems. The Schröder nursery's range also includes rhododendrons, pieris and flowering shrubs.
D. J. Burmann Pflanzen from Barßel produces a large selection of deciduous, coniferous and topiary shrubs as well as rhododendrons with a focus on larger specimen plants on a cultivation area of 70 hectares. The range is constantly being expanded through the training of finished specimen trees and young plants. In recent years, the stock of evergreen umbrella forms and standard trees in particular has been further expanded. With a large machine park and bale cutters with a bale diameter of up to 170 cm, even orders placed at short notice can be processed quickly. The Öltjenbruns tree nursery will also be exhibiting at the joint stand of the Oldenburg tree nurseries. The nursery, based in Bad Zwischenahn, specializes in Japanese umbrella fir and guarantees uniform quality from self-harvested seed to ready-to-sell young plants. In this way, they address production companies with grafting rootstocks and young plants in various strengths for further cultivation, but also the specialist trade for beds, containers, bowls and tables. Öltjenbruns will be presenting its umbrella fir as an all-rounder for indoors and outdoors. Visitors can also look forward to the Wilfried Janßen nursery, which will be presenting the new Fargesia varieties 2024 for the first time at IPM.
The company from Edewecht has specialized in the cultivation and breeding of non-spreading bamboo for more than 30 years and tests the best varieties in different locations, which is reflected in the modern Well Born Bamboo Africa collection. Jens Meyer Jungpflanzen will be presenting conifers, deciduous shrubs, grasses and low-growing rhododendrons at stand 7A40. The tree nursery based in Apen is the largest young plant producer in the field of conifer grafting, but also propagates its young plants in other species with state-of-the-art technology at high intensity
The joint stand 7A40 in Hall 7 is an offer of the organizer of the International Plant Fair Essen and reflects the diversity of the Oldenburg tree nursery area. Trade visitors can get a personal impression of the diversity and quality at a glance.
