The NRW Garden, Landscape and Sports Ground Construction Association had a lucky hand with its program for GaLaBau Ausblicke 2023. In particular, Prof. Dr. Mojib Latif as the closing speaker and special drawing card was able to convince the 100 guests with his committed lecture.

Climate Change, Economy, Sustainability - Chance for a Green Future", the association had christened its event in the supporting program of the trade fair and built up a nice curve of tension. Dr. Katharina Reuter, Managing Director of the German Sustainable Business Association, mental coach Sharon Paschke and climate researcher Mojib Latif offered different perspectives on the topic. Latif made it clear: "You can't compromise with physics."
The effects of CO2 on global warming have been known since 1896, he said. To the concluding question of what he would do if he were German Chancellor, he had a clear answer ready: "Cancel all non-sustainable subsidies."
All in all, the participants were able to take home numerous impressions, and they got an impetus to overcome their inner stubbornness and to do more for sustainability as a company as well.
